This is the third festival we’ve done, and since the first year, we have been blessed to feature films from around the globe. The hope is to do the same this year, and so far, it’s looking to be another year with great submissions.
Since I got into putting together horror events, films have been a big part of what my group and I did (and then me on my own). I love being able to feature the work of indie filmmakers, and it’s great to be able to bring these films to an audience in Flint. Flint doesn’t have a festival like this, and horror fans in the area deserve it.
The festival is open for short horror films no longer than 18 minutes, and three films will be awarded a cash prize for the films that are the freakiest.
It’s three bucks to submit, so way less money than other festivals, and you can win $100.
As a short filmmaker myself, and someone who loves horror in general, and horror films in particular, I really hope we get a lot of great entries this year.
