Yet MORE Movies You May Not Have Seen – part three of whatever

Well, hello!

I am not sure anyone else gets much out of these posts but darn it, I do, so that’s all that matters.

I figured though that I have a lot of movies and love a lot of movies folks haven’t seen and with video stores gone and not everything streaming there are a lot of things folks miss.

Movies that you may fall in love with but have never heard of yet.

Well, let’s change that.

ORGAZMO

A Mormon spreading the good word happens upon the exciting world of porn and falls deep into it. It’s a ridiculous comedy from the fellas behind South Park and CANNIBAL THE MUSICAL and while not everyone’s taste, it’s a weird and hilarious.

STRANGE DAYS

Sci-fi noir that is absolutely brilliant and woefully underseen and featuring a hunky Ralph Fiennes.

Hubba hubba. A story of memory, lost love, and our interpretation of the truth.

ANTHROPOPHAGUS

Called GRIM REAPER in the U.S., this is a weirdo cannibal film that moves at a slow pace but lord have mercy is it gory and strange with a killer ending. The gore is the score here but I’ll always have a soft spot for old Anthy. If you’re into foreign gore films then friend, come aboard.

MOTORAMA

Brilliant and strange black comedy about a boy obsessed with a gas station sweepstakes and his odyssey to win at any cost. Silly, odd, and never talked about. I adore this movie.

CLERKS – the cartoon

This was a very short-lived series on ABC television featuring the voices of the main cast from the classic indie film. Far stranger than the film and truly silly, this was odd and risky and made for an audience that may never exist but I count myself among them. Only lasted two episodes but there’s a set out with all of the episodes. How DOES one kill the Grimace?

GOLDEN YEARS

A beautiful oddity from Stephen King that aired in the summer on CBS in the ‘90’s. A wholly original story about an old man aging in reverse that may be hard to find but is worth it. Beautiful and sentimental and, though it’s rushed, it does have an ending. Well worth a look for fans.

MADE

Favreu’s follow-up to SWINGERS is a little darker but a very fun buddy crime movie. It’s not mentioned much but it’s a solid film and Favreau and Vaughn are great in it as two wanna-be gangsters getting in above their heads.

ELVIS

Fantastic bio from the great John Carpenter about the King of Rock before his fall. Kurt Russell plays the King and it’s a really wonderful film, even for someone who doesn’t follow the man’s career or music.

UNLEASHED

Great Jet Li actioner about a man forced to be the muscle for very bad people. Fantastic action scenes and a really good film overall that no one talks about. Man, it’s great. Check it out.

ZOMBIE DIARIES

Found footage zombie film that puts you dead center in the action. Bleak, nasty, and with a very mean edge. I always liked it because it felt so immediate and scary and the unique storytelling really worked. You can skip the sequel, it was OK but had a lame ending.

And there you have it.

Another installment.

Some may be easier to find than others. Check Tubi first. Not everyone will love all of these but they are interesting movies that cover a pretty broad spectrum so you may well find something you’ll like.
