“Black Car“:
“A tragedy.
A death.
A secret.
A mystery.
A desperation.
A danger.
A horror.
There are many types of cars you can drive on the job, but never, never drive a black car.“
This is a book you can easily call a thriller, and “Black Car” earns that title. The story focuses on a woman coming to terms with a horrible loss and the repercussions of that loss. The story runs at a nice clip and takes the curves well, but may take you down some dark alleys and out-of-the-way locations. Featuring a strong protagonist, she finds out very quickly that the secrets our loved ones keep from us can be deadly.
If you crave a taut, dark thriller that hums along like a super-charged hearse, then friend, do I have a book for you.
